In Phnom Penh, Cambodian people would be enjoy with celebrating khmer water festival on November among three days in front of Royal palace, PM Hun Manet said.

There are a lot of Khmer festivals in Cambodian. Water festival (Bon Om Touk)  is the popularity in the past until now.  The three-day  is celebrated across the entire country. 

With exhilarating boat racing, captivating illuminated floats, and an incredibly mesmerizing moon salute, Phnom Penh becomes a center of excitement. A unique Khmer delicacy, don't miss sampling the unusual rice dishes made with coconut or banana juice.

A few days ahead of schedule, the boat race competitors come to hone their craft on the Tonle Sap River. Government officials and kindhearted individuals frequently support these boats. Cambodians take advantage of the chance to strengthen their family ties. They frequently leave to see the boat races or travel to other provinces to take part in the celebration in other localities.

The Khmer Empire's Water Festival is a very special manner of giving thanks to the ancestors and the deity of water, who is vital to life. There are three components to the celebration: the boat race, the candle-lit wreath launch, and the moon-welcome ritual. The Water Festival embodies the essence of the rich past of the Khmer people. He carries on the long-standing Cambodian tradition from ancient times. 

Handmade wreaths with candles that have a unique history are popular gifts from water festivals. Cambodians are placing wreaths on the water with lit candles on them, and the scene looks intimidating at night because of how beautifully the water's surface is reflecting many colors and sparkles with light.

The most significant celebration on the Khmer calendar is the Cambodian Water celebration. This is among the most significant occasions in Cambodian history. Millions of tourists from across the world descend on Phnom Penh every November to witness this spectacular event or take part in a customary boat regatta along the banks of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers.
