According to Mrs, Kim Guek, It has been discovered that students' usage of social media for extracurricular activities distracts them from their studies, particularly the poorer pupils. Through contacts with peers outside of the classroom, social media use created chances for unforeseen network effects, which shaped young people's knowledge production in unexpected ways. It is important for students to acquire the analytical and intuitive skills necessary to determine how much time they spend on social media. The pupils must determine what matters most in their lives and how much of this virtual existence is applicable to the actual world.
